Testing Octane Render on a car
I recently bought a car model on Turbosquid (a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda to be spesific) to practice some lighting and texturing tecniques. I've been using Octane Render for Cinema 4D a lot lately, but haven't really used it on a proper model yet.
The model was brought into Cinema 4D as a FBX file, with the FBX file I also got some basic materials and UV Coordinates (I think). From there it was easy to convert the C4D materials into Octane materials so I could start lighting, texturing and rendering.
There is a lot more I need to do with the textures before I am happy with it, but I might try and make a cool little 15 second video out of this.
